Street Alley at Stari Grad

Captured in one warm morning at Stari Grad.  Stari Grad ( literally means "Old Town") is a town on the northern side of the island of Hvar in Dalmatia, Croatia.

It is one of the oldest towns in Europe. The city is filled with old buildings dating back to the 19th century.  Most of the buildings before that were burned down during the attack of the Turks in the 16th century.

Bicycles are common means of transportion due to the small size of the city (52.8 km2 or 20.4 sq mi).

The most ancient part of Stari Grad falls within the UNESCO Protected World Heritage Site.
