Blue World

And we are without you.
Who are are?  We don't have a back bone.  We compromise all the time.  We try to live peaceable among men but then in the end we get kick around. We don't mind because we are jelly fish.  We cannot feel pain.  Not like other people do.  We are comfortably numb and don't care to fight and stand up for what we believe.  Because what we believe is all relative.  You say the world is blue, and we say right on.  You say that your car is red.  We say right on.  Even though it's white. We'll go wherever the waters will take us.

Very nice Rob.How did you shoot those?

Thanks, Binnur. Shot when we were at the zoo in Tacoima, Seattle. These were swimming inside a glass aquarium. I used my 35mm lens mounted on Fujifilm X-pro 1. Propped the camera as close as possible to the glass. I took several shots. The two jellyfish were taken at different times but I composited the two to make it look like they were together. I also erased the others to clean up my image. In post-production, I burned the background to make it look black so the blue jellyfish would stand out. Yes, they are bluish - although I beefed up the saturation a bit on the blue and the magenta.

Thanks for explaining Rob. I guessed it was a composite image but I wondered about the dark BG. Now it is clear :-)
