The Little Red Hut

I can’t remember how many versions I have made of this image. Somehow it just seems to evolve, and I always find a new way to render it. This one is my latest edit, which I dig a lot.

The Red Hut was captured around 2010 with a point and shoot Panasonic DMC-LX3. The camera was launched in 2008. I read somewhere that the engine is the same as the more expensive Leica DLUX, which was manufactured at the Panasonic factory.

My LX3 rocked for many years. I accidentally dropped it on a river. I let it dry and a couple of days later, it still worked. In fact, the above image was taken after the accident. How cool was that?
